Refund Policy

Consumed usage is not refundable

Once wallet credits are used, they are generally not refundable, including:

• The portion of a search pack that was actually delivered (profiles ingested on that search). Packs are a live search targeting up to N profiles, not a hard promise of N
• Email enrich once a lookup has run and an email was found (you are only charged when an email is found)
• Hiring-manager lookups once that job has started
• Unlock charges on demo packs

If a paid live search fails to start or persist on our side, we automatically return that pack cost to your Sourcely wallet.

Unused pack slots are credited automatically

The all-in pack price is charged when the search starts so the job can run. When that search completes (or fails after start) with fewer profiles than the pack size, we credit unused slots back to your Sourcely wallet:

credit = round((N − delivered) / N × charged, 2). Delivered is the result count shown in the app. If delivered is at least N, the credit is $0. If the search fails after start with 0 results, the full pack amount is credited. We do not invent filler profiles to pad a short pack. Each search is credited at most once.

That unused-slot credit is a wallet adjustment, not a card refund. Email enrich, GitHub email, hiring-manager lookups, and demo unlocks are unchanged.

Unused wallet balance (14 days)

Unused wallet credits — balance you have not spent on search, enrich, or similar usage — may be refunded if you ask within 14 days of the original Dodo Payments or NOWPayments purchase.

To request a refund of unused balance:

1. Email hello@marcuslawton.com with your Dodo Payments receipt, NOWPayments order id, or transaction id, and the wallet/user id if you have it; or
2. For card purchases, contact Dodo Payments support and reference the Sourcely purchase. Dodo Payments is Merchant of Record and issues card refunds to the payment method they charged.

We (or Dodo Payments) may refund only the unused portion. Consumed credits stay earned.

How refunds are paid

Refunds of card payments are made by Dodo Payments to the original payment method. Wallet-only corrections (failed-to-start refunds and unused pack-slot credits) appear as a credit on your Sourcely balance and are not a card refund.

Crypto top-ups via NOWPayments are typically irreversible on-chain once confirmed. Unused wallet credits from a crypto top-up may be refunded as a Sourcely wallet adjustment, or — where NOWPayments can still reverse the charge — through NOWPayments. Email hello@marcuslawton.com with the order id. We do not credit pending (unconfirmed) crypto payments.

Chargebacks

Please contact us or Dodo Payments before filing a chargeback. Chargebacks for digital usage you received may be treated as abusive and can lead to account suspension. Dodo Payments manages the formal dispute process as Merchant of Record.
